: رَأَيْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ يَأْكُلُ مُتَّكِئاً ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ فَقَالَ "مَا أَكَلَ مُتَّكِئاً حَتَّى مَاتَ".

اور یہ روایت ہے عمر بن ابی شُعبہ سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابوالعبداللہ علیہ السلام کو سہارا لے کر کھاتے ہوئے دیکھا۔ پھر انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا ذکر کیا اور فرمایا: “وہ مرنے تک سہارا لے کر نہیں کھاتا تھا۔”
Translation
Hadith.4248 - It is narrated from Umar ibn Abi Shu'bah who said: "I saw Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) eating while reclining. Then Imam (as) mentioned the Messenger of Allah (swt), peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and said: 'He never ate while reclining until he passed away.' "
