سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ يَقُولُ: "مَنْ شَرِبَ اَلْخَمْرَ فَسَكِرَ مِنْهَا لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلاَةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً فَإِنْ تَرَكَ اَلصَّلاَةَ فِي هَذِهِ اَلْأَيَّامِ ضُوعِفَ عَلَيْهِ اَلْعَذَابُ لِتَرْكِهِ اَلصَّلاَةَ".

ابان ابن عثمان نے الفضیل ابن یسار سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام کو کہتے سنا: "جو شخص شراب پیتا ہے اور اس سے نشے میں آجاتا ہے، اس کی چالیس دن تک کوئی صلات قبول نہیں ہوگی۔ اگر وہ ان دنوں میں صلات چھوڑ دے تو اس کے لیے عذاب دوگنا ہو جائے گا کیونکہ اس نے صلات ترک کی ہے۔"
Translation
Hadith.4950 - Aban ibn Uthman narrated from al-Fudayl ibn Yasar, who said: I heard Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) say: "Whoever drinks alcohol and becomes intoxicated by it, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days. And if he abandons prayer during these days, his punishment will be doubled for neglecting the prayer."
