قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : "اَلنَّظْرَةُ سَهْمٌ مِنْ سِهَامِ إِبْلِيسَ مَسْمُومٌ مَنْ تَرَكَهَا لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لاَ لِغَيْرِهِ أَعْقَبَهُ اَللَّهُ إِيمَاناً يَجِدُ طَعْمَهُ".

4969 - یہ روایت ہے ہشام بن سلیم سے، عقبہ سے، جنہوں نے کہا: ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: "نظر ایک زہریلا تیر ہے جو ابلیس کے تیر میں سے ہے۔ جو اسے اللہ عزوجل کے لیے چھوڑ دے، نہ کہ کسی اور کے لیے، اللہ اسے ایسا ایمان عطا کرے گا جس کا ذائقہ وہ محسوس کرے گا۔"
Translation
Hadith.4969 - It is narrated from Hisham ibn Salim from Uqbah who said that Abu Abdullah (as) said: "A glance (at what is forbidden) is a poisoned arrow from the arrows of Iblis. Whoever abandons it for the sake of Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, not for any other reason, Allah (swt) will grant him faith whose sweetness he will find in his heart."
