: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلرَّجُلِ يَزْنِي وَ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ بِأَهْلِهِ أَ يُحْصَنُ قَالَ "لاَ وَ لاَ بِالْأَمَةِ".

اور عاصم نے محمد بن مسلم سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابا جعفر علیہ السلام سے اس شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جو زنا کرتا ہے جبکہ اس نے اپنی بیوی کے ساتھ نکاح مکمل نہیں کیا: کیا وہ محصن سمجھا جائے گا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: "نہیں، اور نہ ہی کنیز کے ساتھ۔"
Translation
Hadith.5039 - In the narration of Aṣim from Muhammad ibn Muslim, he said: I asked Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) about a man who commits adultery but has not consummated marriage with his wife. Is he considered muhsan (legally married and liable for stoning)? Imam (as) replied: "No, and not with a bondwoman (amah) either."
