John Shaqi

5339 - فِي رِوَايَةِ اَلسَّكُونِيِّ : "أَنَّ عَلِيّاً عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ رُفِعَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ عَذَّبَ عَبْدَهُ حَتَّى مَاتَ فَضَرَبَهُ مِائَةً نَكَالاً وَ حَبَسَهُ وَ غَرَّمَهُ قِيمَةَ اَلْعَبْدِ وَ تَصَدَّقَ بِهَا".


اردو

السكونی کی روایت میں: ایک شخص جو اپنے غلام کو تکلیف دے کر مار ڈالا تھا، اسے ʿAlī علیہ السلام کے سامنے پیش کیا گیا۔ تو انہوں نے اسے سزا کے طور پر سو کوڑے مارے، قید کیا، غلام کی قیمت وصول کی، اور اسے صدقہ کر دیا۔


Translation

Hadith.5339 - In a narration from Al-Sakuni, it is reported that a man was brought before Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) who had tortured his slave until the slave died. Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) ordered that the man be lashed one hundred times as a form of punishment, imprisoned him, and required him to pay the value of the slave, which was then given in charity.
