مُعَاذٌ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ يَقُولُ: " اَلْإِسْلاَمُ يَزِيدُ وَ لاَ يَنْقُصُ فَوَرَّثَ اَلْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ أَخِيهِ اَلْيَهُودِيِّ ".

اور یہ روایت ہے ابو الاسود الدؤلی سے: کہ معاذ بن جبل یمن میں تھے، اور لوگ ان کے گرد جمع ہوئے اور کہا: "ایک یہودی مرد فوت ہو گیا اور اس نے ایک مسلمان بھائی چھوڑا ہے۔" تو معاذ نے کہا: "میں نے رسول اللہ صلى الله عليه وآله سے سنا کہ فرمایا: 'اسلام بڑھتا ہے اور کم نہیں ہوتا۔'" چنانچہ انہوں نے مسلمان کو اس کے یہودی بھائی سے وراثت لینے کی اجازت دی۔
Translation
Hadith.5720 - It was narrated from Abu Al-Aswad Al-Duʾali that Muadh ibn Jabal was in Yemen when people gathered around him and said: "A Jewish man has died and left behind a Muslim brother." Muadh said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) say: 'Islam increases and does not diminish.'" Therefore, he allowed the Muslim to inherit from his Jewish brother.
