5841 - وَ مَرَّ أَمِيرُ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ بِرَجُلٍ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِفُضُولِ اَلْكَلاَمِ فَوَقَفَ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ "يَا هَذَا إِنَّكَ تُمْلِي عَلَى حَافِظَيْكَ كِتَاباً إِلَى رَبِّكَ فَتَكَلَّمْ بِمَا يَعْنِيكَ وَ دَعْ مَا لاَ يَعْنِيكَ".
اردو
امیرالمؤمنین علیہ السلام ایک ایسے شخص کے پاس سے گزرے جو فضول باتیں کر رہا تھا، تو وہ اس کے پاس رکے اور فرمایا: اے انسان، تم اپنے دو لکھنے والوں کو اپنے رب کے لیے ایک کتاب لکھوا رہے ہو؛ لہٰذا وہ بات کرو جو تم سے متعلق ہو اور وہ بات چھوڑ دو جو تم سے متعلق نہ ہو۔
Translation
Hadith.5841 - The Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, passed by a man who was speaking excessively and unnecessarily. Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) stopped and said to him: "O' man, you are dictating to your two recording angels a book to be presented to your Lord (azj). So speak only about what concerns you and leave what does not concern you."
