رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ایک گروہ کے پاس سے گزرے جو ایک پتھر اٹھا رہے تھے، اور آپ نے فرمایا: "یہ کیا ہے، اور یہ تمہیں اس کی طرف کیا بلاتا ہے؟" انہوں نے کہا: "تاکہ ہم جان سکیں کہ ہم میں سب سے زیادہ طاقتور اور مضبوط کون ہے۔" آپ نے فرمایا: "کیا میں تمہیں تم میں سب سے زیادہ طاقتور اور مضبوط کی طرف رہنمائی نہ کروں؟" انہوں نے کہا: "جی ہاں، اے رسول اللہ۔" آپ نے فرمایا: "تم میں سب سے زیادہ طاقتور اور مضبوط وہ ہے جو جب خوش ہو تو اس کی خوشی اسے گناہ یا باطل میں نہ لے جائے؛ اور جب غصہ کرے تو اس کا غصہ اسے حق بات کہنے سے نہ روکے؛ اور جب اس کے پاس اختیار ہو تو وہ وہ چیز نہ لے جو اس کی نہیں۔" اور ایک اور روایت میں ہے: "اور جب اس کے پاس اختیار ہو تو وہ حق کے بغیر وہ چیز نہ لے جو اس کی نہیں۔"

Translation

Hadith.5882 - The Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) passed by a group of people lifting a stone and said: "What is this and what drives you to do it?" They replied: "So we may know who among us is the strongest and most powerful." Prophet (sw) said: "Shall I not guide you to the strongest and mightiest among you?" They said: "Yes, O' Messenger of Allah (swt)." Prophet (sw) said: "The strongest and mightiest among you is the one who, when pleased, is not led by his pleasure into sin or falsehood, and when angry, his anger does not drive him away from speaking the truth, and when he possesses power, he does not take what is not rightfully his." In another narration, Prophet (sw) added: "And when he has authority, he does not claim what is not his by right."
