ه عن معروف بن خرّبوذ فقد رويته عن أبي- رضي اللّه عنه- عن سعد بن عبد اللّه، عن أحمد بن محمّد بن عيسى، عن الحسن بن محبوب، عن مالك بن عطيّة الأحمسيّ، عن معروف بن خرّبوذ المكّيّ.

اس کتاب میں جو کچھ بھی معروف بن خرّبوذ سے ہے، میں نے اسے اپنے والد سے روایت کیا ہے—اللہ ان سے راضی ہو—جو سعد بن عبد اللہ سے، جو احمد بن محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، جو الحسن بن محبوب سے، جو مالک بن عتیہ الاحمسی سے، جو معروف بن خرّبوذ المکی سے روایت کرتے ہیں۔
Translation
Everything in this book that is narrated from Maruf ibn Kharrabudh has been transmitted by me from my father - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Sad ibn Abdullah, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, from Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub, from Malik ibn Atiyyah Al-Ahmasi, from Maruf ibn Kharrabudh Al-Makki.
