«لاَ يَجُوزُ فَإِنَّ اَلْمَجُوسَ أَوْقَفُوا عَلَى بُيُوتِ اَلنَّارِ.

اور ان سے مساجد پر وقف کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: ‘‘یہ جائز نہیں ہے، کیونکہ مجوس نے اپنی آگ کے مندروں کے لیے املاک وقف کی تھیں۔’’
Translation
Hadith.719 - Imam (as) was asked about endowing property to mosques, and He said: "It is not permissible, for the Magians endowed property for their fire temples”.
