هِ قَوْلٌ مَعْلُومٌ فَقَالَ «أَثْنِ عَلَى رَبِّكَ وَ صَلِّ عَلَى نَبِيِّكَ وَ اِسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنْبِكَ.

الحلبی نے ابا عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے قنوت کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ کیا اس میں کوئی مخصوص الفاظ ہیں؟ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: "اپنے رب کی حمد کرو، اپنے نبی پر درود بھیجو، اور اپنے گناہ کی معافی مانگو۔"
Translation
Hadith.933 - Al-Halabi asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about what should be said in the Qunoot (the supplication during prayer). Imam (as) replied: "Praise your Lord (azj), send blessings upon your Prophet, and seek forgiveness for your sins."
