Muwatta Malik 1736
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَدَخَلَ رَجُلٌ ثَائِرَ الرَّأْسِ وَاللِّحْيَةِ فَأَشَارَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ أَنِ اخْرُجْ كَأَنَّهُ يَعْنِي إِصْلاَحَ شَعَرِ رَأْسِهِ وَلِحْيَتِهِ فَفَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَلَيْسَ هَذَا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ ثَائِرَ الرَّأْسِ كَأَنَّهُ شَيْطَانٌ " .

عطاء بن یسار سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مسجد میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے اتنے میں ایک شخص نجس بال سر اور داڑھی کے پریشان تھے آیا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اس کو اشارہ کیا یعنی مسجد سے باہر جا اور بالوں کو درست کر کے آ وہ شخص درست کر کے پھر آیا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا کیا یہ اچھا نہیں اس صورت سے کہ آئے کوئی تم میں سے پریشان سر جیسے شیطان ۔
Translation
Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam that Ata ibn Yasar told him that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was in the mosque when a man came in with dishevelled hair and beard. The Messenger of Allah. may Allah bless him and grant him peace, motioned with his hand that he should be sent out to groom his hair and beard. The man did so and then returned. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Isn't this better than that one of you should come with his head dishevelled, as if he were a shaytan?
