Nahj al-Balagha 1768

١٦٧. وَقَالَ (عليه ‏السلام): الْإِعْجَابُ يَمْنَعُ الِازْدِيَادَ.

Translation

167. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said: Vanity prevents progress. [1]
