Sunan Abi Dawud 2658
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ لَمَّا لَقِيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ فَانْكَشَفُوا نَزَلَ عَنْ بَغْلَتِهِ فَتَرَجَّلَ .

براء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی حنین کے دن مشرکوں سے مڈبھیڑ ہوئی تو وہ چھٹ گئے ( یعنی شکست کھا کر ادھر ادھر بھاگ کھڑے ہوئے ) اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے خچر سے اتر کر پیدل چلنے لگے۔
Translation
Al Bara’ said “When the Prophet (ﷺ) fought the polytheists in the battle of Hunain, they (the Muslims) retreated, he (the Prophet) came down from his mule and walked on foot
