Sunan Abi Dawud 3031
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَعْنَاهُ وَالأَوَّلُ أَتَمُّ .

اس سند سے بھی عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے اسی کی ہم معنی حدیث مروی ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، لیکن پہلی حدیث زیادہ کامل ہے۔
Translation
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by ‘Umar through a different chain of narrators.” He said “The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) said to the same effect. The former version is ore perfect.”
