ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں سورج گرہن لگا تو «الصلاة جامعة» ( صلاۃ باجماعت ہو گی ) کی منادی کرائی گئی، چنانچہ لوگ اکٹھا ہوئے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے ساتھ دو رکعت میں چار رکوع اور چار سجدے کئے۔

Translation

It was narrated from Az-Zuhri, from 'Urwah, that :Aishah said: "The sun was eclipsed during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and it was called out: 'As-salatu jam'iah (prayer is about to begin in congregation).' So the people gathered and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led them in prayer, bowing four times in two rak'ahs and prostrating four times
