اردو

جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیتے دیکھا، پھر آپ تھوڑی دیر کے لیے بیٹھتے اس میں بولتے نہیں، پھر کھڑے ہوتے، اور دوسرا خطبہ دیتے، تو جو شخص تمہیں یہ خبر دے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیٹھ کر خطبہ دیا تو اس کی تصدیق نہ کرنا ۱؎۔

Translation

It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said:"I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delivering the Khutbah standing up, then he sat down for a while and did not speak, then he stood up and delivered another Khutbah. Whoever tells you that the Prophet (ﷺ) delivered a Khutbah sitting do not believe him
