ام المؤمنین حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب مؤذن صبح کی نماز کی اذان کہہ کر خاموش ہو جاتا، اور صبح نمودار ہو جاتی، تو نماز کھڑی ہونے سے پہلے ہلکی ہلکی دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے۔

Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Umar that Hafsah, the Mother of the Believers, told him:that when the Muaddhin fell silent following the call to Subh prayer and dawn had broken, he would pray two brief rak'ahs before getting up to pray
