: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلْحَطِيمِ فَقَالَ «هُوَ مَا بَيْنَ اَلْحَجَرِ اَلْأَسْوَدِ وَ بَيْنَ اَلْبَابِ » وَ سَأَلْتُهُ لِمَ سُمِّيَ اَلْحَطِيمَ فَقَالَ «لِأَنَّ اَلنَّاسَ يَحْطِمُ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضاً» .
