كَانَ يَقُولُ : «مَنْ فَرَّ مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فِي اَلْقِتَالِ مِنَ اَلزَّحْفِ فَقَدْ فَرَّ وَ مَنْ فَرَّ مِنْ ثَلاَثَةٍ فِي اَلْقِتَالِ مِنَ اَلزَّحْفِ فَلَمْ يَفِرَّ».
