_Order I._ ACCIPITRES.
41. _Vultur_, vultures. Beak hooked; head bare: 8 species.
42. _Falco_, eagles and hawks. Beak hooked; head feathered:
32 species.
43. _Strix_, owl. Beak hooked, feathers at its base directed
forwards: 12 species.
