The Rocky Mountain Wonderland

But even as it now stands, this splendidly scenic region with its
delightful climate appears predestined to become one of the most
visited and one of the most enjoyed of all the scenic reservations of
the Government. In addition to its scenery and climate, it is not far
from the geographical centre of the United States. A number of
transcontinental railroads are close to it, and two railroads run
within a few miles of its border. The Lincoln Highway is within twenty
miles of it, and six excellent automobile roads connect its edges with
the outside world.

Each year visitors reach it in increasing numbers. During 1914 there
were more than 56,000 of these, many of whom remained to enjoy it for
weeks. It has a rare combination of those characteristics which almost
every one wants and which all tired people need,--accessibility, rare
scenery, and a friendly climate.
