RAYS OF LIGHT,
FOR SICK AND WEARY ONES.
“Unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing
in his wings.”--MAL. iv. 2.
I’ve found a joy in sorrow,
A secret balm for pain,
A beautiful to-morrow,
Of sunshine after rain.

BY THE REV. PREBENDARY HUTTON.
Messrs. Edmund Durrant & Co. have the honour to announce that they will
publish early in 1887 a devotional book, consisting of portions of
Scripture, and suitable Prayers and Hymns very carefully selected from
the works of many of our best known authors, both ancient and modern;
the work has been compiled with great care by Mrs. H. C. WELLS, of
Broomfield Lodge, Chelmsford.
The book will be well printed in clear type, on good paper, and strongly
bound, and will comprise about 416 pages.
The price of the book will be 6s., but it will be supplied to
subscribers who send in their names to the publishers, Messrs. Edmund
Durrant & Co., High Street, Chelmsford, before publication, at 4s. 6d.
per copy. _A specimen page and order form will be sent post free on
application._ It is earnestly hoped that all who can will subscribe for
one or more copies.
Unless liberal support be given it is almost impossible to publish works
of this character without pecuniary loss. A limited number of copies
only will be printed. Early application is therefore very necessary.
Immediately after publication the price will be raised to 6s.
