John Shaqi

إِذَا وَقَعَ الْحُرُّ وَ الْعَبْدُ وَ الْمُشْرِكُ بِامْرَأَةٍ فِي طُهْرٍ وَاحِدٍ فَادَّعَوُا الْوَلَدَ أُقْرِعَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَكَانَ الْوَلَدُ لِلَّذِي يَخْرُجُ سَهْمُهُ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, and Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>) having said: ‘When the free man and the slave and the Polytheist fall with one woman in one pure period, so the child is claimed for, a lot would be drawn between them, and the child would be for the one whose arrow (lot) comes out’.
