محمد بن یحییٰ، احمد بن محمد سے، علی بن حدید سے، منصور بن یونس سے، یونس بن ظبیان سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: “بے شک اللہ عزّ و جلّ جب امام سے امام کو پیدا کرنا چاہتا ہے تو ایک فرشتہ بھیجتا ہے۔ پھر وہ عرش کے نیچے پانی سے ایک گھونٹ لیتا ہے، پھر اسے امام پر ڈال دیتا ہے یا اس تک پہنچا دیتا ہے، اور وہ اسے پی لیتا ہے۔ پھر وہ رحم میں چالیس دن تک رہتا ہے، کلام نہیں سنتا؛ پھر اس کے بعد کلام سنتا ہے۔ پھر جب اس کی ماں اسے جنم دیتی ہے تو اللہ اس فرشتے کو اس کے پاس بھیجتا ہے جس نے وہ گھونٹ لیا تھا، اور وہ اس کے دائیں بازو پر لکھ دیتا ہے:” “اور تمہارے رب کا کلمہ سچائی اور عدل کے ساتھ پورا ہو گیا؛ اس کے کلمات کو بدلنے والا کوئی نہیں۔” پھر جب وہ اس امر کے ساتھ قیام کرے گا تو اللہ ہر شہر میں اس کے لیے ایک مینار بلند کرے گا جس کے ذریعے وہ بندوں کے اعمال کو دیکھے گا۔”

Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Hadeed, from Mansour Bin Yunus, from Yunus Bin Zabyan who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah^asws saying: ‘Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic, whenever He^azwj Intends to Create the Imam^asws from the Imams^asws, Sends an Angel. So he takes a drink from the water beneath the Throne, then casts it, or hands it over to the Imam^asws. So he^asws drinks it, and he^asws stays in the womb for forty days, not hearing the speech. Then he^asws hears the speech after that. So when his^asws mother places him^asws, Allah^azwj Sends that Angel to him, the one who took the drink, and he writes upon his right arm: <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:6#h115"><a href="/books/quran:6#h115">[6:115]</a></a> And the Word of your Lord has been accomplished truly and justly; there is none who can change His Words</span>’. So when he^asws does stand with this command, Allah^azwj Raises for him^asws a beacon in every city. He^asws can look with this to the deeds of the servants’.
