Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Usman Bin Isa, from Sama’at Bin Mihran who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullahasws the men shaking the hands of women. Heasws said: ‘It is not Permission for the man that he shakes the hand of the woman unless the woman hand sanctity to him if he had married her, or a sister, or a daughter, or a paternal aunt, or a maternal aunt, or a daughter of a sister, or so. So as for the woman whom it is Permissible for him to be married to her, so he should not shake her hand except from behind the cloth, and he should not squeeze her palm’.
