اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لِيَسْتَأْذِنْكُمُ الَّذِينَ مَلَكَتْ أَيْمانُكُمْ وَ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحُلُمَ مِنْكُمْ ثَلاثَ مَرَّاتٍ قِيلَ مَنْ هُمْ فَقَالَ هُمُ الْمَمْلُوكُونَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَ النِّسَاءِ وَ الصِّبْيَانُ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا يَسْتَأْذِنُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ عِنْدَ هَذِهِ الثَّلَاثِ الْعَوْرَاتِ مِنْ بَعْدِ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ وَ هِيَ الْعَتَمَةُ وَ حِينَ تَضَعُونَ ثِيَابَكُمْ مِنَ الظَّهِيرَةِ وَ مِنْ قَبْلِ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَ يَدْخُلُ مَمْلُوكُكُمْ [وَ غِلْمَانُكُمْ] مِنْ بَعْدِ هَذِهِ الثَّلَاثِ عَوْرَاتٍ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ إِنْ شَاءُوا .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from his father, from Khalaf Bin Hammad, from Rabie Bin Abdullah, from Al Fuzayl Bin Yasaar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:24#h58"><a href="/books/quran:24#h58">[24:58]</a></a> O you who believe! Let those whom your right hands possess and those of you who have not attained to puberty ask permission from you three times</span>. It was said, ‘Who are they?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘They are the slaves, from the men and the women and the children who have not yet attained puberty, they should be seeking permission from you during these three privacies – from after the <span class="iTxt">Al-Isha</span> Prayer, and it is (called) <span class="iTxt">Al-Atmat</span>, and when you are putting off your cothes from the backs, and from before <span class="iTxt">Al-Fajr</span> Prayer; and your slaves and your boys can enter from after these three times of privacy without permission, if they so desire to’.
