قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ أَ تَدْرِي مَنْ هُمْ قُلْتُ أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْمُسَلِّمُونَ إِنَّ الْمُسَلِّمِينَ هُمُ النُّجَبَاءُ فَالْمُؤْمِنُ غَرِيبٌ فَطُوبَى لِلْغُرَبَاءِ .

علی بن محمد بن عبد اللہ، احمد بن محمد البرقی سے، وہ اپنے والد سے، وہ محمد بن عبد الحمید سے، وہ منصور بن یونس سے، وہ بشیر الدہان سے، وہ کامل التمار سے، جنہوں نے کہا: ابو جعفر علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: بے شک مومن کامیاب ہو گئے۔ کیا تم جانتے ہو وہ کون ہیں؟ میں نے کہا: آپ زیادہ جانتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: یقیناً کامیاب ہونے والے مومن وہ ہیں جو تسلیم کرنے والے ہیں۔ بے شک تسلیم کرنے والے ہی نجباء ہیں۔ پس مومن ایک اجنبی ہے؛ لہٰذا اجنبیوں کے لیے خوشخبری ہے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Abdullah, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Al Barqy, from his father, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Hameed, from Mansour Bin Yunus, from Bashir Al Dahhan, from Kamil Al Tammar who said, ‘Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘<span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:23#h1"><a href="/books/quran:23#h1">[23:1]</a></a> Successful indeed are the Believers</span>. ‘Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘<span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:23#h1"><a href="/books/quran:23#h1">[23:1]</a></a> Successful indeed are the Believers</span>. Do you know who they are?’ I said, ‘You<sup>asws</sup> are more knowing’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Successful indeed are the <span class="iTxt">Momineen</span> - the submitters. Surely, the submitters are the excellent ones, but a <span class="iTxt">Momin</span> is a ‘غَرِيبٌ’ stranger/foreigner (wherever he lives) and foreigners are successful (in the Hereafter)’.
