سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَسْتَكْمِلَ الْإِيمَانَ كُلَّهُ فَلْيَقُلِ الْقَوْلُ مِنِّي فِي جَمِيعِ الْأَشْيَاءِ قَوْلُ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فِيمَا أَسَرُّوا وَ مَا أَعْلَنُوا وَ فِيمَا بَلَغَنِي عَنْهُمْ وَ فِيمَا لَمْ يَبْلُغْنِي .

علی بن محمد، ہمارے بعض اصحاب سے، الخشاب سے، العباس بن عامر سے، ربیع المسلمی سے، یحییٰ بن زکریا الانصاری سے، ابو عبداللہ (علیہ السلام) سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے انہیں یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: “جو شخص یہ پسند کرے کہ ایمان کا پورا کمال حاصل کرے، تو اسے کہنا چاہیے: تمام امور میں میرا موقف وہی ہے جو آلِ محمد کا موقف ہے، اس بارے میں جو انہوں نے چھپایا اور جو انہوں نے ظاہر کیا، اور اس بارے میں جو ان کی طرف سے مجھے پہنچا اور جو مجھے نہیں پہنچا۔”
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, from one of our companions, from Al Khashab, from Al Abbas Bin Aamir, from Rabie Al Musly, from Yahya Bin Zakariyya Al Ansary, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, (the narrator says) ‘I heard him<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The one who wants that his <span class="iTxt">Eman to </span>be completed, so let him say, ‘The words from me in the entirety of the matters are the words of the Progeny<sup>asws</sup> of Muhammad<sup>saww</sup> regarding whatever was kept secretive and whatever was announced, and regarding whatever reached me from them<sup>asws</sup> and regarding whatever did not reach me’.
