إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَصَّ عِبَادَهُ بِآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ أَنْ لَا يَقُولُوا حَتَّى يَعْلَمُوا وَ لَا يَرُدُّوا مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمُوا وَ قَالَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ أَ لَمْ يُؤْخَذْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِيثاقُ الْكِتابِ أَنْ لا يَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَقَّ وَ قَالَ بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِما لَمْ يُحِيطُوا بِعِلْمِهِ وَ لَمَّا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيلُهُ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے ابن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے یونس بن عبد الرحمن سے، انہوں نے ابو یعقوب اسحاق بن عبد اللہ سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: 'بے شک اللہ نے اپنے بندوں کو اپنی کتاب کی دو آیات کے ذریعے خاص کیا ہے: کہ وہ بولیں نہیں جب تک جانیں، اور جو نہ جانیں اسے رد نہ کریں۔ اور اللہ عزوجل نے فرمایا: [7:169] کیا ان سے کتاب کا عہد نہیں لیا گیا کہ وہ اللہ کے بارے میں صرف حق بات کہیں گے؟ اور فرمایا: [10:39] بلکہ انہوں نے اس چیز کو جھٹلایا جس کے علم کو انہوں نے احاطہ نہیں کیا، اور ابھی ان کے پاس اس کی تاویل آئی بھی نہیں۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Yunus Bin Abdulrahman, from Abu Yaqoub Is’haq Bin Abdullah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Particularised with two Verses from His<sup>azwj</sup> Book that they (people) should not be saying until they know, and they should not be replying what they are not knowing, and the Mighty and Majestic Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:7#h169"><a href="/books/quran:7#h169">[7:169]</a></a> Was not a Covenant Taken from them in the Book that they would not speak anything about Allah but the truth?</span> And Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:10#h39"><a href="/books/quran:10#h39">[10:39]</a></a> But, they are belying that which they have no comprehension of its Knowledge, and it’s explanation has not yet come to them</span>’.
