مَا ذَكَرْتُ حَدِيثاً سَمِعْتُهُ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ( عليه السلام ) إِلَّا كَادَ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّعَ قَلْبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّي عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَ ابْنُ شُبْرُمَةَ وَ أُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ مَا كَذَبَ أَبُوهُ عَلَى جَدِّهِ وَ لَا جَدُّهُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَنْ عَمِلَ بِالْمَقَايِيسِ فَقَدْ هَلَكَ وَ أَهْلَكَ وَ مَنْ أَفْتَى النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَ هُوَ لَا يَعْلَمُ النَّاسِخَ مِنَ الْمَنْسُوخِ وَ الْمُحْكَمَ مِنَ الْمُتَشَابِهِ فَقَدْ هَلَكَ وَ أَهْلَكَ .

ابن شبرمہ نے کہا: 'میں نے جعفر بن محمد علیہ السلام سے جو کوئی حدیث سنی اور یاد کی مگر قریب تھا کہ میرا دل پھٹ جائے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: میرے والد نے مجھ سے بیان کیا، اپنے دادا سے، اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے۔' ابن شبرمہ نے کہا: 'اور میں اللہ کی قسم کھاتا ہوں کہ نہ آپ کے والد نے اپنے دادا پر جھوٹ بولا، نہ آپ کے دادا نے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر۔' آپ نے فرمایا: اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو قیاس کے ذریعے عمل کرے، وہ ہلاک ہوا اور ہلاک کیا، اور جو لوگوں کو بغیر علم کے فتویٰ دے اور وہ ناسخ کو منسوخ سے اور محکم کو متشابہ سے نہیں جانتا، وہ بھی ہلاک ہوا اور ہلاک کیا۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Dawood Bin Farqad, from the one who narrated it, (It has been narrated) from Ibn Shubrama (a judge) who said, ‘I do not recall a Hadeeth I heard from Ja’far Bin Muhammad<sup>asws</sup> except that it almost pierces my heart. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘My<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> narrated to me, from my<sup>asws</sup> grandfather<sup>asws</sup>, from Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>’. Ibr Shubrama said, ‘And I swear by Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, his<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> father<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> did not lie upon his<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> grandfather<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, nor his<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> grandfather<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> (lied) upon Rasool-Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup>. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> said: ‘The one who acts by the analogies, so he would be destroyed and destroy (others), and the one who issues Fatwas to the people without knowledge and he does not know the Abrogating (Verses of the Quran) from the Abrogated, and the Decisive from the Allegorical, so he would be destroyed and destroy (others)’.
