ایک آدمی آیا جب کہ وہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ) کے پاس تھا، اور اسے اپنے نومولود کی خبر دی گئی۔ آدمی کا چہرہ بدل گیا۔ نبی (علیہ السلام) نے اس سے فرمایا: 'تجھے کیا ہوا؟' اس نے کہا: 'خیر ہے۔' آپ نے فرمایا: 'بولو۔' اس نے کہا: 'میں گھر سے نکلا اور عورت درد زہ میں تھی، پھر مجھے بتایا گیا کہ اس نے بیٹی کو جنم دیا ہے۔' نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ) نے فرمایا: 'زمین اسے اٹھائے گی، آسمان اسے سایہ دے گا، اللہ اسے رزق دے گا، اور وہ ایک خوشبودار پھول ہے جسے تم سونگھو گے۔'

Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Abu Al Abbas Al Ziyyat, from Hamza Bin Humran, raising it, said, ‘(A midwife) came to a man whilst he was in the presence of the Prophet^saww, so he informed him with a birth for him. So the face of the man changed. So the Prophet^saww said to him: ‘What is the matter with you?’ So he said, ‘Good’. So he^saww said: ‘Speak’. He said, ‘I came out and the wife was in labour, so she (mid-wife) just informed me that she had given birth to a girl’. So the Prophet^saww said to him: ‘The earth would carry her and the sky would shade her, and Allah^azwj would Sustain her, and her smell is of a fragrant flower’.
