إِنَّ لِلرَّحِمِ أَرْبَعَةَ سُبُلٍ فِي أَيِّ سَبِيلٍ سَلَكَ فِيهِ الْمَاءُ كَانَ مِنْهُ الْوَلَدُ وَاحِدٌ وَ اثْنَانِ وَ ثَلَاثَةٌ وَ أَرْبَعَةٌ وَ لَا يَكُونُ إِلَى سَبِيلٍ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ وَاحِدٍ .

محمد بن یحییٰ اور دیگروں نے احمد بن محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے احمد بن محمد بن ابی نصر سے، انہوں نے اسماعیل بن عمر سے، انہوں نے شعیب العقرقوفی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: رحم میں یقینا چار راستے ہیں؛ ان میں سے جس راستے میں پانی (نطفہ) چلا جائے اس سے بچہ ہوتا ہے — ایک بھی، دو بھی، تین بھی اور چار بھی — اور ایک راستے سے ایک وقت میں ایک سے زیادہ نہیں ہو سکتا۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from someone else, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Ismail Bin Umar, from Shuayb Al Aqarquqy, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘For womb there are four ways in whichever way the water (seed) travels. There can be from it the one child, and two, and three, and four, and there cannot happen to a way (out), for more than one (at a time)’.
