اسْمِ وَلَدِهِ فَقَالَ سَمِّهِ بِأَسْمَاءٍ مِنَ الْعُبُودِيَّةِ فَقَالَ أَيُّ الْأَسْمَاءِ هُوَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Ibn Mabbah, from so and so Bin Humeyd, He asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, and consulted him<sup>asws</sup> regarding the naming of his child. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Name him by the names from the slavery’. So he said, ‘Which names are these?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Abd Al-Rahman’.
