إِنَّ حَدِيثَنَا صَعْبٌ مُسْتَصْعَبٌ لَا يَحْتَمِلُهُ إِلَّا صُدُورٌ مُنِيرَةٌ أَوْ قُلُوبٌ سَلِيمَةٌ أَوْ أَخْلَاقٌ حَسَنَةٌ إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَخَذَ مِنْ شِيعَتِنَا الْمِيثَاقَ كَمَا أَخَذَ عَلَى بَنِي آدَمَ أَ لَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَمَنْ وَفَى لَنَا وَفَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ وَ مَنْ أَبْغَضَنَا وَ لَمْ يُؤَدِّ إِلَيْنَا حَقَّنَا فَفِي النَّارِ خَالِداً مُخَلَّداً .

علی بن ابراہیم، ان کے والد سے، البرقی سے، ابن سنان یا کسی اور سے، جنہوں نے اسے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام تک مرفوع کیا، جنہوں نے فرمایا: بے شک ہماری حدیث مشکل ہے، مشکل بنائی گئی ہے؛ اسے صرف منور سینے، یا سالم دل، یا اچھے اخلاق ہی برداشت کر سکتے ہیں۔ بے شک اللہ نے ہماری شیعہ سے عہد لیا، جیسے اس نے بنی آدم سے لیا: کیا میں تمہارا رب نہیں ہوں؟ پس جو ہمارے ساتھ وفادار رہے، اللہ اس کے لیے جنت کو پورا فرمائے گا؛ اور جو ہم سے بغض رکھے اور ہمارا حق ہمیں ادا نہ کرے، تو وہ آگ میں ہوگا، ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لیے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Barqy, from Ibn Sinan, or someonle else, (It has been narrated) raising it to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Our<sup>asws</sup> Ahadeeth are difficult, becoming more difficult. None can bear it except for an enlightened chest, or a tranquil heart, or excellent morals. Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Took the Covenant from our<sup>asws</sup> Shias just as He<sup>azwj</sup> Took upon the Children of Adam<sup>as</sup> <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:7#h172"><a href="/books/quran:7#h172">[7:172]</a></a> Am I not your Lord?</span> So the one who was loyal to us<sup>asws</sup>, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> would be Loyal to him with the Paradise, and the one who hates us<sup>asws</sup> and does not fulfill our<sup>asws</sup> rights to us<sup>asws</sup>, so in the Fire he will abide eternally’.
