سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ لَا يَصْلُحُ النَّاسُ فِي الطَّلَاقِ إِلَّا بِالسَّيْفِ وَ لَوْ وَلِيتُهُمْ لَرَدَدْتُهُمْ فِيهِ إِلَى كِتَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ .

حمید بن زیاد نے حسن بن محمد سے، انہوں نے حسن بن حذیفہ سے، انہوں نے معمر بن عطاء بن وشیکہ سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: 'لوگ طلاق کے معاملے میں تلوار کے بغیر درست نہیں ہوں گے، اور اگر میں ان پر حکمران ہوتا تو انہیں اس میں اللہ کی کتاب عز وجل کی طرف لوٹاتا۔'
Translation
Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Huzeyfa, from Ma’mar Bin Ata’a Bin Washeyka who said, ‘I heard Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The people would not be correct regarding the divorce except by the sword, and if I<sup>asws</sup> were to rule over them, I<sup>asws</sup> would refer them in it to the Book of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic’.
