سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ وَ اللَّهِ لَوْ مَلَكْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِ النَّاسِ شَيْئاً لَأَقَمْتُهُمْ بِالسَّيْفِ وَ السَّوْطِ حَتَّى يُطَلِّقُوا لِلْعِدَّةِ كَمَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ .
اردو
میں نے ابو جعفر (علیہ السلام) کو یہ فرماتے سنا: 'اللہ کی قسم! اگر میں لوگوں کے معاملات میں سے کچھ کا مالک ہوتا تو میں انہیں تلوار اور کوڑے سے سیدھا کرتا یہاں تک کہ وہ عدت کے لیے طلاق دیتے، جیسا کہ اللہ عزوجل نے حکم دیا ہے۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from one of our companions, from Aban, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘I heard Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘By Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! If I<sup>asws</sup> owned anything from the affairs of the people, I<sup>asws</sup> would straighten them by the sword and the whip until they would be divorcing to the waiting period just as Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic has Commanded’.
