سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَ هِيَ حَائِضٌ فَقَالَ الطَّلَاقُ لِغَيْرِ السُّنَّةِ بَاطِلٌ .

ہمارے کئی اصحاب نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے احمد بن محمد بن ابی نصر سے، انہوں نے عبد الکریم سے، انہوں نے حلبی سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے ایک ایسے آدمی کے بارے میں سوال کیا جس نے اپنی بیوی کو حالتِ حیض میں طلاق دے دی۔ تو آپ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: سنت کے خلاف طلاق باطل ہے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Abdul Kareem, from Al Halby, said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about a man who divorces his wife and she is menstruating’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The divorce to other than the Sunnah is invalid’.
