علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے ابن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے ابو ایوب سے، انہوں نے محمد بن مسلم سے روایت کی کہ: ابو جعفر علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: جو شخص ایک ہی مجلس میں طہر کے بغیر تین طلاقیں دے، یہ کچھ نہیں ہے۔ طلاق وہی ہے جس کا اللہ عزوجل نے حکم دیا، پس جو اس کی مخالفت کرے اس کی طلاق نہیں ہوگی۔ اور بے شک ابن عمر نے اپنی بیوی کو ایک مجلس میں تین طلاقیں دیں جبکہ وہ حائضہ تھی، تو نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے انہیں حکم دیا کہ اسے واپس لیں اور طلاق کو شمار نہ کریں۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ایک شخص امیر المؤمنین علیہ السلام کے پاس آیا اور کہا کہ اے امیر المؤمنین! میں نے اپنی بیوی کو طلاق دی ہے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: کیا تمہارے پاس گواہ ہیں؟ اس نے کہا: نہیں۔ تو آپ نے فرمایا: دفع ہو جاؤ۔

Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Abu Ayoub, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, ‘Abu Ja’far^asws said: ‘The one who divorces three (times) in one sitting upon other than purity (menstruation), will not amount to anything. But rather, the divorce is which Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic Commanded has with. So the one who opposed, there would be no divorce for him, and that the son of Umar divorced his wife three (divorces) in one sitting, and she was menstruating. So the Prophet^saww ordered that he should sleep with her and not to exceed with the divorce’. He^asws said: ‘And a man came over to Amir Al-Momineen^asws, so he said, ‘O Amir Al-Momineen^asws! I divorced my wife’. He^asws said: ‘Is there any proof (two witnesses) for you?’ He said, ‘No’. So he^asws said: ‘Single’.
