فِي الْمَرْأَةِ إِذَا بَلَغَهَا نَعْيُ زَوْجِهَا قَالَ تَعْتَدُّ مِنْ يَوْمِ يَبْلُغُهَا أَنَّهَا تُرِيدُ أَنْ تُحِدَّ لَهُ .
Translation
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, and Abu Al Abbas Al Razzaz, from Ayoub Bin Nuh, both together, from Safwan, from Ibn Muskan, from Al Hassan Bin Ziyad, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said regarding the woman, when the (news of the) death of her husband reaches her. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘She should observe the waiting period from the day it (news) reaches her, she would want to mourn herself for him’.
