سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا أَيْنَ تَعْتَدُّ قَالَ حَيْثُ شَاءَتْ وَ لَا تَبِيتُ عَنْ بَيْتِهَا .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Al A’ala Bin Razeyn, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5th or 6th Imam<sup>asws</sup>), said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the woman widowed from her husband, where should she observe her waiting period?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Wherever she so desires to, and she should not spend a night away from her house’.
