John Shaqi

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ لِامْرَأَتِهِ أَنْتِ مِنِّي خَلِيَّةٌ أَوْ بَرِيئَةٌ أَوْ بَتَّةٌ أَوْ حَرَامٌ قَالَ لَيْسَ بِشَيْ‏ءٍ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Jameel Bin Darraj, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, ‘I asked Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> about the man who is saying to his wife, ‘You are, from me, free’, or ‘disavowed’, or ‘severed’, or ‘prohibited’’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It is not with anything’.
