رَجُلٍ لَاعَنَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَ هِيَ حُبْلَى ثُمَّ ادَّعَى وَلَدَهَا بَعْدَ مَا وَلَدَتْ وَ زَعَمَ أَنَّهُ مِنْهُ قَالَ يُرَدُّ إِلَيْهِ الْوَلَدُ وَ لَا يُجْلَدُ لِأَنَّهُ قَدْ مَضَى التَّلَاعُنُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Nasr, from Abdul Kareem, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding a man who cursed his wife and she was pregnant. Then he claimed her child after she had given birth, and claimed that it was from him. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The child would be returned to him, and he would not be whipped, because the cursing had passed’.
