Translation
And by his chain, from Al Halby who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullahasws about the man who emancipated his concubine, is it correct for him that he marries her without a waiting period?’ Heasws said:’ Yes’. I said, ‘So others?’ Heasws said: ‘No, until she observes the waiting period of three months’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And I asked himasws about a man who fell upon (copulated with) his slave girl, is it correct for him that he marries her before he observes the waiting period?’ Heasws said: ‘No’. I said, ‘How much is her waiting period?’ Heasws said: ‘One menstruation or two’.
