فِي رَجُلٍ أَعْتَقَ أُمَّ وَلَدِهِ ثُمَّ تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَنْقَضِيَ عِدَّتُهَا قَالَ تَعْتَدُّ بِأَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ وَ عَشْرٍ وَ إِنْ كَانَتْ حُبْلَى اعْتَدَّتْ بِأَبْعَدِ الْأَجَلَيْنِ .
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Jameel Bin Darraj, from one of his companions, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> said regarding a man who emancipated a mother of his children, then died from her before she had fulfilled her waiting period. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘She would observe the waiting period of four months and ten (days), and if she was pregnant, she would wait with the further of the two terms’.
