الحسین بن محمد، معلیٰ بن محمد سے، وہ الوشاء سے، وہ احمد بن عائذ سے، وہ ابن اُذینہ سے، وہ مالک الجہنی سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ (عليه السلام) سے کہا: اس کا، جو عز و جل ہے، یہ فرمان: “اور یہ قرآن میری طرف وحی کیا گیا ہے تاکہ میں تمہیں اس کے ذریعے ڈراؤں، اور جس تک یہ پہنچے۔” انہوں نے فرمایا: “جس تک یہ پہنچے، اگر وہ محمد کی آل میں سے امام ہونے والا ہو، تو وہ قرآن کے ذریعے اسی طرح ڈراتا ہے جیسے رسول اللہ (صلى الله عليه وآله) نے اس کے ذریعے ڈرایا تھا۔”

Translation

Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Washha, from Ahmad Bin Aiz, from Ibn Azina, from malik Al Juhny who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah^asws, ‘(What about) the Words of the Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:6#h19"><a href="/books/quran:6#h19">[6:19]</a></a> and this Quran has been Revealed to me that with it I may warn you, and whomsoever it reaches</span>?’ He^asws said: ‘The one whom it reaches that he would become an Imam^asws from the Progeny^asws of Muhammad^saww, so he^asws would warn by the Quran just as Rasool-Allah^saww warned by it’.
