سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ حُرٍّ كَانَتْ تَحْتَهُ أَمَةٌ فَطَلَّقَهَا طَلَاقاً بَائِناً ثُمَّ اشْتَرَاهَا هَلْ يَحِلُّ لَهُ أَنْ يَطَأَهَا قَالَ لَا .
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about a free man who had a slave girl under him. So he divorced her with an irrevocable divorce, then bought her. Is it Permissible for him that he copulates with her?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No’.
