لَا عِتْقَ إِلَّا مَا طُلِبَ بِهِ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ .

محمد بن یحیی نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے علی بن الحکم سے، انہوں نے علی بن ابی حمزہ سے، انہوں نے ابوبصیر سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: کوئی عتق (آزادی) درست نہیں مگر وہ جس کے ذریعے اللہ عزوجل کا چہرہ (رضا) طلب کی جائے۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘There is no emancipation unless what is sought by it is the Face of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic’.
