قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَا عِتْقَ إِلَّا بَعْدَ مِلْكٍ .

ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن حسن بن شمون سے، انہوں نے عبد اللہ بن عبد الرحمن الاصم سے، انہوں نے مسمع ابی سیار سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: ملکیت کے بغیر کوئی آزادی نہیں۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Muhammad Bin Al Hassan Bin Shamoun, from Abdullah Bin Abdul Rahman Al Asamma, from Misma’a Abu Sayyar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘There is no emancipation except after ownership’.
