سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ آتُوهُمْ مِنْ مالِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي آتاكُمْ قَالَ الَّذِي أَضْمَرْتَ أَنْ تُكَاتِبَهُ عَلَيْهِ لَا تَقُولُ أُكَاتِبُهُ بِخَمْسَةِ آلَافٍ وَ أَتْرُكُ لَهُ أَلْفاً وَ لَكِنِ انْظُرْ إِلَى الَّذِي أَضْمَرْتَ عَلَيْهِ فَأَعْطِهِ وَ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَكاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْراً قَالَ الْخَيْرُ إِنْ عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ عِنْدَهُ مَالًا .
Translation
And by his chain, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5<sup>th</sup> or 6<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>), said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:24#h33"><a href="/books/quran:24#h33">[24:33]</a></a> and give them of the wealth of Allah which He has Given you</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The woman who thinks that she would be contracted upon him should not be saying, ‘I will contract him with five thousand, and I would leave for him a thousand’, but consider to that which she is concealing upon him, so give it’. And about the Words of the Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:24#h33"><a href="/books/quran:24#h33">[24:33]</a></a> give them the writing if you know any good in them</span>, he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If you know that in it is wealth (profit)’.
